This decoration is made of gold-plated brass, in the shape of the North star. The cord to hang the decoration with is made from recycled saris. The ornament is approximately 75 mm x 110 mm and packaged in a festive box.

In India, women wear traditional clothes in beautiful fabrics on special occasions. We think it is a shame not to reuse these cheerful sari fabrics when they are no longer worn.
