1. Terms & Applicability

• All offers, orders, and agreements of A Beautiful Story BV are subject to these general terms and conditions, unless A Beautiful Story BV has explicitly agreed in writing to other conditions.
• By placing an order on the website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
• You will receive an order confirmation immediately after placing the order.
• Subsequently, you will receive an email when your order has been shipped.
• No rights for future transactions can be derived from any agreed deviations.
• Accepting an offer and placing an order implies acceptance of the applicability of these terms and conditions.

2. Prices & Costs

• All prices on the A Beautiful Story BV website include 21% VAT.
• Shipping costs:
• The Netherlands: €3.95 (letterbox), €5.95 (parcel)
• Germany: €4.95
• Belgium and Austria: €5.95
• Rest of Europe: €8.95
• Orders over €50 are shipped free of charge within the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
• For other countries, free shipping applies for orders above €80.
• If you order multiple items, the shipping costs remain the same.
• As long as the agreement has not been concluded, A Beautiful Story BV reserves the right to change prices and other terms.

3. Deliveries

• A Beautiful Story BV aims to ship all orders that are in stock within 1-2 days.
• An order will in principle always be dispatched within 3-4 days after receipt of payment to the address provided.
• A Beautiful Story BV is not liable for delays caused by Post NL, DHL & DPD.
• A Beautiful Story BV is not liable for any damage resulting from exceeding the announced delivery times.
• A Beautiful Story BV exercises the utmost care in receiving orders and shipping ordered items. If an order is not delivered or is incomplete, this must be reported within 7 days of receipt. The delivery will then be supplemented or redone at the expense of A Beautiful Story BV if applicable.

4. Payment Methods

• The purchase agreement is established at the moment you accept the offer and comply with the stated conditions. As long as the receipt of this acceptance has not been confirmed by email, the customer can dissolve the agreement.
• Payment methods:
• iDEAL
• Visa
• MasterCard
• Paypal
• When paying with Visa or MasterCard, A Beautiful Story BV reserves the right to check if the card is valid, if there is sufficient spending limit, and if your address details are correct.
• For iDEAL payments, the Mollie payment system is used.
• For payments with Visa or MasterCard, Mollie is also used. This payment provider handles the processing of transactions.

5. Complaints & Returns

• We do our utmost to deliver a perfect product. A Beautiful Story BV recommends inspecting delivered items immediately upon receipt.
• If the product does not meet your expectations, please contact us by email at info@abeautifulstory.nl. We always try to find a solution together.
• If no written objections are received within 7 days, A Beautiful Story BV assumes that it has fully met its obligations.
• You have the right to return the delivered items within 14 days of receipt.
• During this reflection period, you must handle the items and packaging with care.
• You may only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep it.
• Returns must be made within the reflection period and in the original packaging, to the address on the return label.
• Return shipping costs are always at your own expense.
• If the items are unused, undamaged, and returned on time, A Beautiful Story BV will refund the purchase price (including any shipping costs) within 14 days of receipt of the return.
• If payment was made with a gift card, a new gift card will be issued (no refund).
• Items not returned within 14 days of receipt are considered accepted.
• You may also use the model withdrawal form to inform us that you wish to cancel your purchase. However, use of this form is not mandatory.

6. Liability

• A Beautiful Story BV accepts no liability for damage resulting from the use of its products.
• Any liability of A Beautiful Story BV, its staff, and products for any damage, direct or indirect, is excluded.
• Liability is always limited to a maximum of the purchase price of the relevant item.
• A Beautiful Story BV is not liable for misunderstandings, mutilations, delays, or improper transmission of orders and communications due to the use of the internet or any other means of communication between you and A Beautiful Story BV (or between A Beautiful Story BV and third parties), unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of A Beautiful Story BV.

7. Force Majeure

• In the event of force majeure, A Beautiful Story BV’s obligations are suspended.
• If the period in which the force majeure occurs lasts longer than two months, both you and A Beautiful Story BV have the right to dissolve the agreement without any obligation to pay damages.
• Force majeure includes, among others, strikes, disruptions, import/export bans, natural disasters, regardless of whether this occurs at A Beautiful Story BV or at A Beautiful Story BV's suppliers.

8. Privacy

• A Beautiful Story BV respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Your personal data is used for processing the order.
• In addition to executing the orders, the data will only be used, with your permission, for marketing purposes and maintaining the customer relationship with you.
• The data will never be made available to third parties, unless involved in executing your order.

9. Applicable Law

• The agreement and these general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
