A woman who still inspires me daily is Nimdiki Sherpa. When I met her in Nepal 15 years ago, it was as if I had met my soulmate. Nimdiki is the founder of the first Montessori school in Nepal. As many women were unable to afford school fees, she started an employment project, Beads for Life. Ever since we met, we’ve been working together. When it comes to equality and independence, we think alike. We are like two peas in a pod.
